Based on that logic, you appear to want Poly to be a forum dedicated to your griping about the past.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Seriously, constantly complaining about how poster X ruined Poly is not going to make poster X stop ruining Poly. If you want the atmosphere here to be better, be the better poster.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Good comment Lori. I am certainly "the better poster", not the better man, but the better poster. I post about hope and change. Nothing comes easy, so you focus on the fights, and that's your choice.Long time member @ Apolyton

I'm not sure how digging up a decade old dispute everyone else had forgotten about and trying to sow division between the new owner and his mod staff counts as being a 'better poster'. Admittedly Poly is a wretched hive of villainy, but if you're going to try and take the moral high ground, it'd help if you weren't hurling mud at other people while you did it.

I'm actually a poster who favors stricter moderation of the OT, Lancer. When I was first made a moderator back in 2009, I tried my damndest to encourage a more civil atmosphere at Poly. But I didn't do it by constantly complaining about how things used to be better in the good old days before people changed. Why? Because that kind of behavior is exactly the kind of behavior I didn't want at Poly. It's when our posts are invariably personal that things become ugly here. Then people take it personally and feelings get hurt and regrettable words get tossed around. The way to make a better Poly is to encourage lively discussion, discussion not tinged with personal vendettas and old grudges. Stop making things so personal, and Poly will stop being so ugly.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

I hate having to use the dictionary... but when people don't know what words mean, I kind of have to.

You lack a group. You are not a leader.
At best, you are mildly deranged. To us, it is the BEAST.
