  • before, you got banned for threatening loin (or something, i dunno)
Uh, I wasn't even mad. That's how silly it all was. I was sparring with Loin, and I told Loin that I could kick his ass. Then next time I log onto poly, I find that I was unable to post and that I had a six month ban.

No notice, no warning, no nothing.

    Lamest. Ban. Ever.

      • Yeah, I was a bit mystified that the comment even drew anyone's attention. It's not like I ignored a RR+R (read, respond or be restricted). I went to bed for the night and woke up the next morning with the ban.

What am I supposed to say when there's quotas for everybody except Asian kids? Are people really equal with affirmative action?

Why would you mention it except as a threat? Do you not understand subtext?

Which is why you need a remedial English course, Dribbler.

If Britain cared so much about the United States, why did they not shift their armies to America?
Stop squirming idiot. This is exactly why everyone hates you. You took an indefensible position and now you're twisting the argument around to something no-one cares about to try and save face. This was about significant things to America, not Britain.

Incidentally, while this wasn't as important to Britain as the huge wars taking place just across the English Channel on the continent, America was always significant to us, and Britain received widespread criticism for the capital burning.

Except it wasn't even the largest invasion anyway you dip****, unless Lee moving a 45,000 strong Army of Northern Virginia into Maryland suddenly didn't happen in Ben-land, or the numerous other invasions that took place during the ACW.

Ah and here we have the other Kenobi special, the barefaced lie that someone else has conceded a point they clearly haven't.

Doesn't it ever bother you that your pathetic childish actions make so many people hold you in such utter contempt?

You should really not use Wikipedia when you have trouble understanding what it says.
Yes, you get a point for once again making a total **** out of yourself. Britain didn't generally give out medals for individual actions other than gallantry medals you ****ing plum.

*EDIT* I should add that Waterloo was a notable exception to this, where for the first time a medal was given to all troops present at a battle rather than present in a wider campaign. This was of course because it was arguably the most important European battle of the entire Napoleanic wars. Even then it caused a load of anger from troops who had fought in the campaign for years but missed that battle. The idea that an action would only be significant if they gave a specific medal for it is nonsensical. It was an extremely rare occurance.

The Navy got the Naval General Service Medal for service in the War of 1812, the Napoleanics and various other campaigns throughout that time, which was then awarded with a clasp showing which specifics the bearer was present at. There were 10 different clasps given for the War of 1812.
