I really don't understand what you are trying too say.
1. 6am to 10am is high traffic time for any restaurant. The hours that KFC is closed is key too fast food restaurant profits.
2. Work week of an individual is not relevant too profits. My point on the work week is that an individual at CFA may actually spend less time with his family because the work day can be longer.

#2 is predicated on an unjustified assumption of workforce size for both KFC and CFA, your analysis either way is BS.

It's is nebulous though and falls under the "any plublicity is good plablicity" rule. I personally feel their rise is due to customer service, simple menu, and above all being clean. I feel this is common umongst most newer franchises who are displacing old, lazy and complacent franchises of legacy chains. Some of those legacy chains, Wendy's and Taco Bell in my area specifically, seem to be learning and are going through massive reinventions.

I made no statement or assumption about work force size. No matter how many people are working at KFC/CFA, the hours of operation remain the same. The instore and drive thru traffic are variable.

I think the majority of people don't care one way or the other about gay rights or slave labor in Asia or exploitation of third world countries for resources.
I am a Christian Baptist and a democrat. If you asked me to vote on gay marriage I would vote yes. If you asked me to stop eating at a certain restaurant because the owners where against gay marriage I would say no.

That is too say that I would agree with the statement gay rights = human rights. However, I feel strongly that there are other issues that actually effect more people that we should be focusing on.

For example, Too my knowledge, Ben Kenobi, is not gay, not married and doesn't even have sex with women. So why does he care? This issue is designed by Republicans to distract Americans from things that actually effect them and also make them vote against their best interests.
