Certification is a verification that you know how to do something. Experience does not take place of certification and certification does not take place of experience.

In general, I would hire a person with certification and 0-1 years experience before I hired the person with 10 years no certification. Especially, if the certification was easy to get for qualified candidates. My first assumption is that you are a quack and not actually qualified to do the job.

Most Americans go/went to public schools. I maintain that you can get a great education at public schools. I am also sure that the kids that are doing well at your school would do just as well If they went to public schools. I am sure that they would not end up being prostitutes and drug addicts because they went to public school. In fact, there success depends more on themselves and there parents than you.

That is too say, that as a teacher or a coach you can have a positive effect on a child but there are many factors that go into raising a child. More factors than a single non sexual catholic man school teacher mindless follower republican exiled Canadian would know.

I have been a tutor for many years. In a Catholic school, it is one thing to teach about the Catholic church. Outside of it, it is not pertinent to the subject at hand. Even in the Catholic school, we have examinations that are conducted by the state to ensure that our students are receiving the education they are supposed to receive, and most of my students have done well. A few over the years have failed, but this is not unexpected, nor outside of the normal ratio.

The numbers are very clear in demonstrating that a private school education is worth the costs in giving children a competitive advantage. Catholic schools are particularly good because we have lower tuition and still perform to a high standard. There is no significant difference between Catholic school demographics and public school demographics.

1 - lacking equivalent power isn't the same as lacking power whatsoever.
2 - I consider it a union tax because it is used the same way tariffs are used - as a protectionist measure towards an industry that isn't competitive with the market.
