        in favor of the 1st & 9th
If you're arguing freedom of association applies to marriage - then there's nothing barring any form of marriage between multiple people. Including the application and enforcement of Sharia law.

You're also a terrible libertarian if you're arguing against federalism.

That's surprising. I thought they were in the 5th. I stand corrected. That's a very strange division...

I wonder why they didn't divide the 8th as:

New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and put the rest of the Northern Plains states?

Or Chunk out the 9th - as Washington/ Oregon/ California / Hawaii / Alaska, and then split the 10th so you'd have Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, and New Mexico together? Then you'd have a 5th with Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

See, normally I'd get upset about people quoting Ben, put Imran found the brevity-is-the-soul-of-wit-and-also-the-soul-of-proving-Ben-wrong loophole.

Yeah, I'll let this one slide. I would never have seen the epic wrongness thanks to the ignore feature otherwise.

One can hardly expect a history major to keep up with recent events post 1929 or so....

Eh, I also wouldn't have expected Mississippi to be included in the 5th circuit with Texas either, due to being on the other side of the Mississippi, and the state having more in common with Alabama and Georgia in the deep South than Texas out west.

So we done with this whole, 'Ben never admits that he's wrong?' meme? Sometimes I do screw things up.

Would have been really hard for you to try to argue your way out of this one

There's a difference between proving me wrong, as Imran has done here and between asserting that I'm wrong. You say X is Y and that I haven't sufficiently proven my case. Well, then. You have the example before you. Prove me wrong, Ming. It can be done.

Is this something they teach in law school down here? I know it's not in my curriculum here. Just curious. I know they teach in Canada - the difference between the Common Law and the Civil law in Quebec.

I did... three out of the four largest catholic population countries are NOT monarchies... You claim of MOST was a STUPID MISTAKE on your part and just more of your BS.

Now, unless you can read minds, or provided some actual facts that people in those countries would replace their current form of government with a Monarchy....

                                You are wrong once again.
