"Force feed" is an odd choice of words.

Not really when you bring economics into play.

It is cheaper to eat crap in the US.

That is force feeding people crap.

Americans can afford non-crap much more easily than most people in history. Being lightly nudged into the direction of crap is not "force-feeding".

That's not true. Non-crap food in China is far cheaper than in the US and far cheaper than crap food as well.

I frequently am at risk from a large collection of electronic music I have. Is that what you had in mind ?

Or repetitive strain injury from watching 'artistic' dvds ?

After all, I'm now approaching 51, haven't contracted syphilis, gonorrhoea, N.S.U., herpes or H.I.V. and have definitely not been celibate. Possibly those condoms may have something to do with it... but of course you'd discount that and say it must be a miracle, hallelujah !

                    • Healthy food is super ****ing cheap. I can get a can of corn for 50 cents. I can get a can of green beans for 50 cents. I can get pack of frozen spinach or broccoli for a dollar. Fresh fruits and vegetables are just as cheap. I buy 5 pounds of apples every week for $7. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are a dollar a pound. Bread is maybe $3-$5 a loaf. A gallon of milk is $2. I don't remember how much eggs cost but it's very very little. Chicken drumsticks are a dollar a pound, meat goes up from there; I get 90% lean ground beef for somewhere south of $5/pound.

A hamburger and fries at burger king is $5. I can make several dinners for that much from fresh ingredients bought at the grocery store.
