      You are criminally retarded.

I can't even discuss this with you because you don't even know what we are talking about.

HFCS is a highly refined substance. It is not the same kind of sugar in fruit.

Obesity comes packaged with very real health risks. So does homosexuality.
And using it as an excuse to attack gay rights is quite offensive to me. And a new low for you.
Do you believe that fat people should have their lives regulated by government legislation to help control their diet? If not, then I don't see what's offensive about a factual statement.

Yes, there is quite a long list of diseases that have higher than average incidence ratios among gay people. Want a list?

I mean, seriously grib. Just google it. Google high fructose corn syrup.

If you can't even understand the basic meaning of terms, I can't help you. All I'm left to do is try to think of clever ways to insult you.

I've Googled high fructose corn syrup, as you suggested. First result: Wikipedia article. Second result:

Research has shown that high-fructose corn syrup is chemically similar to table sugar. Controversy exists, however, about whether or not the body handles high-fructose corn syrup differently than table sugar.

At this time, there's insufficient evidence to say that high-fructose corn syrup is any less healthy than other types of sweeteners. We do know, however, that too much added sugar — not just high-fructose corn syrup — can contribute unwanted calories that are linked to health problems, such as weight gain, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome and high triglyceride levels. All of these boost your risk of heart disease.

What a surprise, HFCS doesn't magically make you unhealthy... it's just as bad for you as any other kind of sugar.

Oh, but there's "controversy". Just as there's "controversy" over whether the Earth was created 6000 years ago...

Yeah, being fat is totally not a choice. People totally don't choose to drink two liters of soda a day or anything. Right........

                  Nobody said it does.

HFCS causes a spike in blood sugar levels, more so than other sugars. Eating more if it, increases the risk for all fat related problems. That spike in blood sugar makes your body store more of the calories as fat as opposed to burning them.

If you don't understand how the metabolism works, you probably won't understand this. You thought HFCS was the same as the sugars in fruit. So I won't bet on you being informed about metabolic function.

Until you learn to read, it's pointless to do anything but insult you.

So you are firmly in the "HFCS isn't unhealthy" camp? I just want to be sure.

The fructose in HFCS is the same chemical as the fructose in fruit. I'm sorry if that concept is too difficult for you. Too much sugar will cause health problems... and people certainly choose to consume too much. BEING FAT IS USUALLY A CHOICE.

That's right up there with it's not racism, it's a fact.

If you were really concerned about the incidence among gay people you would support gay marriage since the incidence drops considerably among monogamous couples.

But somehow the that destroys the meaning of marriage for you. Another thing that you've never experienced.

So don't try to deflect from just another attempt to demonize gays.

Facts are stubborn things. Engaging in risky sexual practices like sodomy increases your health problems much in the same way that obesity will lead to other health problems.

Most would suggest lifestyle changes in order to preserve one's health.

If you were really concerned about the incidence among gay people you would support gay marriage since the incidence drops considerably among monogamous couples.
I used to believe this, but then I became convinced that I was being lied to and that gay marriage would have no substantial impact on the overall incidence rates.

Where's the evidence for this, rah?

But somehow the that destroys the meaning of marriage for you. Another thing that you've never experienced.
If one must be married in order to have a valid opinion on it then why does the desire for gay people to be married count for anything?

So don't try to deflect from just another attempt to demonize gays.
You were the one who suggested that you found the comparison, offensive. Why? Because fat people are icky and gay people are fabulous?

OK, some of you are doing a good job and some of you aren't. Remember, don't respond to Ben. You can respond to his points, but don't direct your posts at him. Just talk about him like he isn't here. Then some day this will become a wonderful reality.
