Lots of people are capable of being teachers. Did you know, people with education degrees have the second lowest SAT scores of any major? First is nurses.

HC and Reg just want the poors to shut up. No more no less.

I dont know why though? Its something that a lot of conservatives cant bear - this idea that life exists outside a spectrum of good and bad choices. My step brother in law is like this too. He thinks poor people deserve to be poor, rich people have legitimately earned every last cent they made, and if you have a problem with your station in life, its your own fault so shut up about it.

Yes, teaching is easy, yet somehow a lot of teachers are really bad at it.

If lots of people are capable why is burnout so high? Again, you've only thought about this in the most juvenile and "I've already made up my mind" way. Its what you do.

Is your framework for the world so fragile that you need to tear other people down to validate your own life?
He managed all that as a high school dropout? Cool. He must have worked his ass off to overcome that.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

They don't know how to babysit properly. Better bring in some teenage girls to replace them.

I did that. I am lucky as **** to have the right opportunities open up at the right time. Hard work had nothing to do with it. Basic competency and being in the right place at the right time with the right person by my side is why my life is great now. I dont presume that people get what they want out of life through hard work or any work alone, I think its a confluence of factors. I don't think I'm particularly unique in this regard either, its just I'm not so arrogant to presume that everything I have in life is my own doing.

My step bro in law is a nice and funny guy, its his politics and the cognitive dissonance associated that bug me.

So the president is responsible for all income and employment yet its everyone's personal choices that led to their financial and economic outcome.

Yes. Obama is omnipotent and controls everything, but people still have free will. Presumably he determines the total size of the economy and if one person tries harder and makes more money, someone else will earn less.

If we're still responding to your *****ing about reg making fun of poor college graduates, no one put a gun to their head and made them major in useless fields like Ethnic Studies or Theater. My point in the thread was that by and large the population you are defending has a tendency to vote for and support policies that perpetuate the poverty and hopelessness that they are complaining about.

Seriously, why cant people like Dino, Reg, HC just admit they dont like poor people and they dont like them because they have a simplistic view where effort/intelligence lead to deserved rightful outcomes and anyone who uses alternate means to secure better outcomes for themselves is just throwing the whole world into disarray. It would at least be honest with itself.
