Starvation is a ridiculously medieval form of ending someones life. The irony of course is that it is exactly people like you with your sadistic religious extremism who create these situations. A society that didn't have to deal with religious fanaticism would have put a morphine drip in her arm and let her just drift away. Instead we get these stupid, idiotic situations where people are only allowed to die 'naturally' despite how much pain and suffering that may include.

Well, he had been fighting to get the feeding tube removed since long before those children had been conceived. I don't see any reason to think he wouldn't have wanted her brought back if it were possible.

As an extremely peaceful way of letting someone die. Artificially keeping braindead people alive when there is absolutely no chance of them regaining any mental functions is just sick.

She wasn't 'hungry', her brain no longer had the ability to feel pain or process thoughts like hunger. It was nothing more than keeping a badly damaged human body alive for no reason other than to make sick ****s like you feel awesome about the 'sanctity of life'.
