The biggest OCD I see these days is young people walking around real cities with phone screens glued to their face, bumping into people and lamp-posts as they walks along. Some of them are probably playing sims. Think about that. Social media addiction has taken over for some. That's why they can't get their act together and have mortgages and the like, or any form of real life commitment. It interferes with their fantasy world. When all else fails, blame brown people. | Hire a teen, while they still know it all. | Trump-Palin 2016. "You're fired." "I quit."

I wish I could control my loved ones like sims sometimes.... after some long heavy phone calls about various issues today...but it ended well
The best call was with my Dad (79), who is angry like Wiggy or just bat**** crazy some days, self medicating for his back pain, but tonight he was pretty lucid and happy so we had a real good talk, we're working together on some family stuff
Those conversations are precious once your parents/grand parents start to fade
I'm batting 500 and calling my second son (16), who specialises in attitude, hostility and pushing my buttons, in about 20 minutes...anytime he says something nice to me I treasure that and hope he makes it through those hard mid-teen years without getting on drugs or alcohol, or checking out entirely. I very nearly did lose it at that age. He is highly strung like me, so we don't get on, but at least I understand him and keep reaching out to him, wish me luckLast edited by Alexander's Horse; March 10, 2013, 06:37.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Lots of ways to deal with it. Regions could be simulated on the PC, after all... I'm sure that's how the eventual crack will work (virtual machine running on your PC). Really all the 'simulation of the region' is doing is fixing prices and such - so they could set it up so the region prices are changed according to a particular algorithm, and as you switched between cities the other city's details are remembered. None of this is super complicated, for a SP game...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
