Jesus ****ing christ, is there anything you're not wrong about? You know where Mexico is on GDP Per Capita? 59th in the damn world, about 30-40 places behind all the major European countries.

Probably because of proximity to large drug sources. You have to cross a ****ing ocean to get crack to wherever the hell you are.
Yeah sure, it's all those pesky gangs. Except it isn't.

Rights are things the government can't stop you from doing. In Europe, governments can for the most part do whatever the **** they want. Which is why Communism and Fascism thrived there but not here. Nobody believes in limited government across the pond.
You are so goddamn retarded I can't believe they let you near a computer without supervision.

You mean the attack that actually happened in Toulouse not Marseille and left 4 dead? You do realize that in the last 5 years there have been 20 mass murders in the US (since Virginia Tech)? Want to guess how many there have been in Europe?

Also what is interesting, if you compare nominal GDP,

US is suprisingly low in the charts, 19th on CIA list, just above Ireland (in the middle of a crisis itself) and below Belgium! of all places I guess that is the effect of low dollar, but still interesting given the historical trends for US to be near the top of the charts there due to the whole IT, financial, energy and military center of the world thing.

Mexico is really low, even though I thought it would be higer, lower than Croatia even, and quite substantially so.

            • Why are guns the issue here and not the barriers to civil commitment the Supreme Court put up after 1975?

The GOP tried to hold the AG to account for his gun running side business but was stymied by his allies in Congress.

Why not? How is PPP adjusted GDP inherently more meaningful?

It has nothing to do with a desire for violence or the bravado associated with having a firearm. It's just about simply enjoying a sport. Of the ones I know that feel the need to own a gun, most are women who think they need it to protect themselves from things like rape.
I know a few gun owners and I don't trust them based on the fact they own a ****ing gun. It's a litmus test on whether you're a good person or not. Good people, in general, don't own weapons of any kind (unless you're running a weapons museum.) Owning a weapon says something about the kind of person you are (read that as a weak and scared person).

Also, using a gun to protect against stranger rape is one of the more fascinating things I've heard. Use that **** on your ****bird husband who is trying to rape you, the far more likely scenario for rape.

Yeah, the solution isn't a legal one. It's a social one which is making gun owners feel like **** for owning things that kill people.

Wow, that's an original comeback. You ever tried to kill a big group of people with a sharp pencil? You heard of many mass rat-poisoning killings in non-gun owning countries? You think cars and knives might just have a few other uses other than killing?
