                          Yep. Roe v. Wade tended to have the effect to radicalize the debate. It's why I tend to say I like a European style compromise (makes the extreme "pro-choice" crowd think for a second - since they tend to be the Europhiles ).

                          • As abortion was illegal in half the country when Roe was passed, I'm not sure you can fairly point fingers at it for 'radicalizing the debate'. It ensured a lot of women had access to something a lot of women need.
