I like where this is going. When are you going to realize that conservatism just isn't as popular in places that matter?

I like being right. Romney ****ting the bed, Obama being re-elected, the economy and everything going in the crapper in response to his re-election?

Eventuallly, people are going to start noticing when your predictions come true.

If consummate moderate Romney was the answer, why did he perform worse than McCain in a much more favourable environment?

Your moderate republican tears are delicious. What, is Palin to blame this time?

Aren't the jobs & GDP numbers increasingly positive?

The economy went in the crapper due to Bush. Obama just inherited it.

Nothing like a purity test in the Republican base to really drive those voting numbers up.

Nominating moderates is really working out well for the Republicans.

There's your problem. You think Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan is moderate. You think John McCain/Sarah Palin is moderate. If there's one thing thats tough to swallow it's realizing that maybe you have the perspective problem, not the rest of the world.

“If I hear anybody say it was because Romney wasn’t conservative enough, I’m going to go nuts,” Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said in a Nov. 5 interview with Politico. “We’re not losing 95 per cent of African-Americans and two-thirds of Hispanics and voters under 30 because we’re not being hard-ass enough.”

When Obama wins by a razor-thin margin it wasn't a failure of conservative ideas.

Romney is a moderate republican as is John McCain. They were specifically chosen because of their moderate characteristics.

McCain was kind of moderate and exit polls indicate he actually got a larger share of the hispanic vote than Romney did. Unfortunately for him he did a great job of convincing Americans that he didn't know what to do about the economy.
