Dream Scenario: They hire Joss Whedon to do the Star Wars films, and Nathan Fillion is the leading man, playing Han Solo's son.
Tell me you wouldn't see that film.
Umm, yeah... no. I love Joss, but, no.

They also note that there already is a 'pretty expensive treatment' (perhaps misquote 'extensive'?), so perhaps George will manage to screw one more movie up before he gives up the ghost...

RoS wasn't bad. I wouldn't mind turning the Star Wars Tetrology into a quintet.
Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Han's son turned into a Dark Lord of the Sith. I don't see Nathan pulling that off.

I'd hope not. For the amount of money Disney just paid, they should be able to tell him to **** off.

Here's a thought to horrify you all. By owning both Marvel and Lucasfilms, Disney has given itself the keys to relaunch Howard the Duck.

Nathan Fillion is also a terrible idea for Han Solo or anyone similar. Han wasn't a loveable guy, he was much more gruff and ambiguous. Nathan doesn't do morally ambiguous well, IMO. I never saw Mal as a particularly ambiguous character...

So perhaps Alpha Centauri 2 has a shot after all?

Malcolm Reynolds is basically the same character as Han Solo.

Lucas may have made his name with just one movie but he sure made a ton off of the franchise.
