To be honest, imo, working as a community organizer seems far more Christ honoring than working as a businessman.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

I am positive that businessmen go into business first and foremost in order to alleviate poverty.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I also wouldn't arrange my economic policies around archaic superstition and feel-good bull****. If somebody does something good as a side effect of a selfish act, who cares that it was for selfish reasons? It really doesn't matter. Outcomes are important. Motives aren't.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

So, Mr. Ends-Justify-the Means, why exactly wade into a comment made by a Christian quite obviously in response to another Christian discussing the relative merits of businessman and community organizer?“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
