He does a good impersonation of someone born in the United States. Not bad for a secret Islamic terrorist undermining the way of life you find so appealing. I do wonder though at what point in his second term he will reveal himself as the Antichrist and the Hidden Imam, drop neutron bombs on Israel, divorce Michelle and marry his secret Sufi gay lover in a public gay marriage...

      • To be honest, imo, working as a community organizer seems far more Christ honoring than working as a businessman.

By what measure? It is convenient to speak of the selfless community organiser but more realistic to speak of them as a set of people whose actions do not translate into a set of rewards for success and disincentives for failure. Businessmen alleviate poverty far more effectively than conmunity organisers or non-profits.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

              • I am positive that businessmen go into business first and foremost in order to alleviate poverty.

                        • I also wouldn't arrange my economic policies around archaic superstition and feel-good bull****. If somebody does something good as a side effect of a selfish act, who cares that it was for selfish reasons? It really doesn't matter. Outcomes are important. Motives aren't.

                          • So, Mr. Ends-Justify-the Means, why exactly wade into a comment made by a Christian quite obviously in response to another Christian discussing the relative merits of businessman and community organizer?

                            • Somebody who thinks the ends don't justify the means has a flawed understanding of the meaning of the word "ends". All consequences are ends.
