Criminals use cars to commit crimes. Cars are useful so we don't ban them. Same goes for guns.

Yeah, it is. Because it demonstrates the fact that in a country where the number of legal private guns is between 90-100% of the number of adults, and illegal guns bring the number way past one for every citizen, the idea of getting rid of them is ridiculous.

Learn to shoot before you're 21. I'm not a gun owner, but even I know that your first experience with a gun should be with your dad, not your buddies. Safer for everyone if you learn to respect a gun at the same time you're learning to fire it than learning to fire it when you're with your drinking buddies.
