It's not about what you believe.
BK also suffers from a complete failure in ethics as a result of his terrible metaphysics, so there's a reason that you two are lumped in together. He at least pays lip service to being a sinner, whereas you are too drowned in your own pride to admit even that much.
HTML is disabled in signatures

If it is actually his words which are the word of God, wouldn't he not have made the differences clear (when he was quoting Christ/etc) as he did many times.
He did consider himself a man of God, which he was.
You are lifting him up on a pedestal which he doesn't deserve to be.

It doesn't matter for the purpose of the argument over whether Scripture is the Word or not. You just said the gospel is the Word of God. So Scripture is the Word. And so in John 1 Word is Scripture.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Imran, JM, can you tell me anything about Protestant conceptions of theosis? It's right at the center of Orthodoxy, and I've been told it's problematic or scandalous for some Protestant denominations, but Wiki says that Methodists/Wesleyans have an equivalent doctrine, and so do Anglicans. Though the Wesleyan idea appears to be quite different.
Hmm, looks like theosis itself has a special page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theosis...ox_theology%29 .

Certain groups of SDAs (historic, for example) preach that we are transformed to the point where we are perfect in action, not only via Christ covering us.
More modern groups of SDAs (Although both groups exist in the SDA church) preach that earthly perfection is impossible until the transformation at Christ's return.
