Dividing people up into precise "good" and "evil" groups is rarely practical or helpful. At least, not for humans.

I guess I think that if we are in union with God, then we will show it by our actions.
So if someone was in perfect union with God, say Enoch in the biblical story, then they would be perfect (at that time) in deed.
I don't really see how one could differentiate morals and partaking in God's actions.

Kidicious: Do you approve of slavery? If your answer is yes, then you are a terrible human being. If your answer is no, then you must disapprove of Thomas Jefferson, and therefore you are still a terrible human being for calling me "anti-american" for disapproving of Thomas Jefferson holding slaves.
To sum up: you are a terrible human being.<p style="font-size:1024px">HTML is disabled in signatures </p>

And he resisted freeing these slaves, the ones who were his mistresses and children.
Unlike Washington, who freed all his slaves, and not only freed them but tried to see that they would have skills to succeed in society.

Hm,
the bible AFAIK doesn´t have any passages that clearly condemn slavery / state that slavery is evil ...
so what reason would Kid have to think that slavery is evil (especially if he holds the bible in so high regards?
(which definitely seems to be the case according to the thing I read in this thread)Tamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "He has fallen in battle and I must take him to the Einherjar in Valhalla"

Compare it to the idea of "mortal" and "venial" sins. Everybody is guilty of venial sins - it is only a select few who are guilty of mortal sins. I'm not saying that Kidicious is guilty of a mortal sin, I'm merely saying that he is supporting those who have been guilty of mortal sins (by lending support to the sin of slavery).<p style="font-size:1024px">HTML is disabled in signatures </p>
