So if someone was in perfect union with God, say Enoch in the biblical story, then they would be perfect (at that time) in deed.

I don't really see how one could differentiate morals and partaking in God's actions.

Jefferson said that all men are created equal, and he held slaves. This hypocrisy should shock even you. In addition, DNA evidence proves that he had sex with his slaves - he had sex with women over whom he had the power of live and death, which by any rationale is rape. The fact that you accuse me of "anti-american" sentiment merely proves that you approve of slavery and rape. Congrats on being a terrible human being.

Unlike Washington, who freed all his slaves, and not only freed them but tried to see that they would have skills to succeed in society.

the bible AFAIK doesn´t have any passages that clearly condemn slavery / state that slavery is evil ...
so what reason would Kid have to think that slavery is evil (especially if he holds the bible in so high regards?

It's not differentiation; the idea (IIUC, I'm not a theologian, all rights reserved, etc.) is that attempting the former without the latter is doomed to failure--at least, it's impossible to be totally moral that way.
