When I first started posting on the OT I had quite a few discussions with Ben. Most of them I felt he was wrong about, but they were largely cordial discussions. I'm sure Ben is still generally the same decent guy he was then, the Poly game (how it's evolved) is just something he plays better than most.

DF has posted about his sexual exploits in the past, and when accused of being a racist after his "aren't black people stupid" thread his response was "yeah, so?" When a "quirk" leads you to threaten physical violence to somebody over the internet then it crosses the line into "psychosis" territory
