Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I don't imagine a story about "mugging hero fired by Wells Fargo" would play well in the press for them.
However, saying the operations of any business you work for is "petty" is never going to go down well, and those slight word differences are not BS, they are extremely important. And I can't understand why you couldn't ask the detective if you could make a statement outside work hours.
Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy. We've got both kinds
although i agree with the others who said that you could have handled the work situation better.
Agreed, well done.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I didn't get in trouble about it, as far as I know. I know I'll be in the clear if nothing comes up by next week.
I did find out some other stuff about my boss, though. Her husband came by and she was pointing us out, and when she mentioned me, her husband said (within earshot of the lead teller), "Oh, the smartass". Apparently, the woman talks grimey about me outside of work. Can't be trusted.

That doesn't sound good, Alby. While I'm not particularly polite on this forum, when someone is in a position of authority over me, I've learned the hard way several times that it's better just to ignore the part of you that really wants to point out how much of a dumbass someone is, or argue, or contradict, or any of that sort of thing. I'm not particularly experienced but there have been several times in my past jobs where I've wanted to just do my own thing or argue with my boss, but I force myself to smile and say "yes, sir!" This policy has worked out very well for me. My bosses trust me, they like me, and think I am smart. Something I've discovered is that if you agree with someone, they assume you are smart because they assume you think like they do.
Remember that jobs aren't about you, they're about what you provide to other people.

HC, I've learned from past jobs that being the sucker gets you nowhere. The people who move up are the ones who only look out for themselves.

Al, sometimes not being an unpleasant smartass *is* looking after yourself.
No one else finds me unpleasant. She just came to this branch a month ago. The previous service manager was a big fan of me.
The sad thing is I was the only one at the job who didn't talk **** about her behind her back.
