Why are you arguing Hera's non-sequitur?

Has he ever lived in the US? Or does he get all of his knowledge of America from blogs?

I guess reading research papers and course descriptions isn't a good indication of what the same profs teach in the classroom?

Hera obviously gets his information from blogs. Regardless, he uses it in the most ridiculous ways that make his arguments moot.

Where did you find a course description that said "only white people can be racist"?

Hera can't take anyone truly challenging his flawed reasoning.

Oh I can take it and in great quantity from serious posters. I just don't reward insulting stalkers with attention. Which is what you basically where for what a year and a half?

Also "get news from blogs" doesn't seem like addressing any of the points I made in this thread.

What point? You've switched topics more than DD trying to defend conservative policy.

Maybe you should show me one of those course descriptions you were talking about. You know, the ones that say "only white people can be racist".

Nonsense grib, you've only asked him eighty times.

I've tried finding the particular course description that I recall talking a lot about this very subject but its been too long and don't recall the name of the uni or the prof, I'll try and work on my google-fu and get back to you on that in a few days.

The slides I refered to previously talked quite a bit about the "racism = power + prejudice" definition often employed by some critical race theorists. It then went on to state that Whites as a class hold so much more power over nonWhites that it is meaningless to speak of racism against Whites even when there is prejudice or hate against Whites.

The premise idea of "racism = power + prejudice" is however easy to look up in sociological papers available online and am surprised people haven't heard of it.

Yes, if anyone has taken African-American Philosophy they would have come across the idea of racism requiring power. It's BS though. Institutional racism would require power but you can still believe your race is superior without any power in society to back it up. Hell, the ones most vocal about such things in the US now a days are the ones without any meaningful power (racist rednecks)

Of course, once again promoting something that you can't back up. Something that's complete nonsense to begin with.

                                Probably because they've been debunked.
