I remember when people were complaining about this during the Bush administration. I also remember that you were not among them.

    • I don't remember any threads about fondling by federal officials in which I defended that practice. Perhaps you should link said thread.

          • Apparently they are getting even more aggressive now:
Radio presenter Owen JJ Stone may never travel in jogging trousers again. He told how he was informed that the rules had been changed and was offered a private screening. When he asked what the procedure entailed, the TSA agent responded, "I have to go in your waistband, I have to put my hand down your pants," after which he did precisely that.

Stone chose to conduct the search in public in the fear that the TSA worker would be even more aggressive in a private room.

"If you're wearing sweat pants [trousers] or baggy clothing, I was wearing sweat pants they're not baggy, they're sweat pants," said Stone, adding that the agent pulled out his waistband before patting his backside and his crotch.

That's an issue for discussion. However, most people just keep going around saying "Don't tread on me."

Would you have complained if, when flying through Japan, you were fondled in back rooms by stewards, without prior consultation or consent ?
