But you don't put up any evidence for your claims.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. That was the answer I was expecting.

Given he wasn't really preparing a well thought out stimulus plan, one that was likely to have immediate stimulative effects per his own advisors (Romer) requirement for a stimulus plan (this per his own admission that he did not comprehend that the concept of shovel ready projects is a fiction) or one that changed the underlying business environment to stimulate job creation ( I add to this category the fig leaf one time tax credit that in no way changes any business structural issues), the arguement then is whether he is simply massively incompetent or ideologically blinkered.

            Likely both.

My evidence is who he associates with, and always has. Everything from Reverend Wright to weather underground, this guy associates with communists and radicals. Lets put it this way Dashi, would you do all the things Obama has done and then be shocked if someone accused you of being a socialist? How can you push for the policies he has and surround yourself with the people he has and still not be a socialist? Do you have to put yourself on the same level as Stalin, Hitler, and Mao in order to finally be considered one? This is basically nothing more than socialists and progressives watering down the idea of what socialism is as they continue their never ending quest to normalize socialist values and policies. It's called incrementalism. You push an idea, make it the norm, and when someone questions it you call it crazy and wonder why they would even consider the thought. Then you go the next step on your path to socializing America. It's pretty obvious.

Wright isn't a socialist. Obama had no connection to the weather underground than a tenuous association with one supposed member.

Yes, but then I'd realize that there are a lot of uninformed and easily influenced people out there.

Like what? And don't just say healthcare. Demonstrate exactly what is socialist about it.

Two words: Income redistribution. They all share the same thing in common. Also, you saying that Wright isn't a socialist is laughable.

And you'd be the President, which would be cool. And married to Michelle Obama.

I don't know what Drix knows less of: domestic affairs or foreign. And he wants to work for US intelligence. He'll fit right in.

                          Fixed.

That being said. There is a point being echoed numerous times throughout the last few weeks in various articles. Namely how do Dems ever think to curry favor with the 'great unwashed masses" when they continue to provide ample evidence of condescension on an almost daily basis. Its as if the "Whats the Matter with Kansas?" trope is on steroids. Funny but calling people scared, racist, idiots is not likely to endear you to them.

It never ceases to amaze me how the residents of an insignificant country like the UK can even begin to criticize the US. I mean honestly, what exactly do you have going for you? You're basically lapdogs for your US overlords. You can't even field the tiny, backwards army you have without going into a financial crisis. Maybe you should focus on your own country?
