  • Actually I'm hoping that my fellow citizens from Illinois vote for the republican in the senate race for the vacated seat. If so, it could help keep the DEMS from do some cheap lame duck session tricks between now and the end of the year.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

If it is 40% and 30%, the right can afford to go further right than the left can afford to go further left, ne?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Very small chance of Republican Senate control, even with possibility of Crist or the Alaskan.
Markets have moved a bit in dems' favor. 52-48 is now favored slightly over 51-49

That would preclude just about any meaningful reform on campaign financing.

I still think we'll get to 53. The pollsters still don't count the 35 and under crowd who only use cell phones.

Yeah, that also explains why our left is so far to the right they'd be considered the right in civilized countries.

Let's face it, politics is all just a strip tease anyway.

We'll find out if the polls are still good or not or, possibly, if they're bad but turn out is so one sided it overwhelmed bad polling methodology.

                              • Have you made any trades, KH?
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
