Actually I'm hoping that my fellow citizens from Illinois vote for the republican in the senate race for the vacated seat. If so, it could help keep the DEMS from do some cheap lame duck session tricks between now and the end of the year.

Left of center is about 30% of the population and right of center is about 40% of the population. The remaining 30% are in the middle. The key is to get the centrists and one side which is why it is so retarded to go ever more extreme the way the Republicans have been going; you'll even lose some of the slightly right of center people if you go to far to the right.

If it is 40% and 30%, the right can afford to go further right than the left can afford to go further left, ne?
