Let's look at it from the stripper's POV, if it hasn't already been done.
Asher tells them he's Gay. This likely brought to mind two possible scenarios.
A) Asher isn't really Gay. Why is he saying that he is?
or
B) Asher is Gay, yet he's throwing money at female strippers.
In either case, they must wonder WTF. Throw into the mix the fact that many strippers are lesbian, and couldn't care less about Asher's persuasions regarding sex.
Bottom-line? The girls made a killing on yet another night.

Everyone else there was a grad student and dirt poor, I am essentially working a couple jobs and am currently dealing with a bunch of extra cash laying around. I was also ****ing smashed and I'm a VERY KIND drunk which meant I was a bit too generous.
None of them probably bought the "I'm gay" line. People don't usually believe it.
