The laws I saw talk about "demonstrations", nothing specific to pro-life.

They also cite 'protesting'. Demonstrators who oppose abortion only. This is viewpoint discrimination, open and shut. I'm not surprised to see a so-called progressive wanting to tear down speech rights.

How is someone who broke the law, admittedly, innocent?

I don't believe the bubble zone law should exist. It's contradictory to freedom of speech.

If the man is the father, based on his conception of the child, the identity of the child does not change during pregnancy. This is the point I'm trying to make clear.

If there is no connection between the unborn child and the born child, then child support is also impossible. Both of these statements are legally contradictory. If you were to be consistant, you would be saying that we cannot prove the identity of the father through DNA, because the child in the womb is not the same as the child outside of the womb.

Or you can say that abortion is contradictory, because wantedness shouldn't have anything to do with an intrinsic quality like personhood.

The fact that the born child came from the unborn child doesn't make the unborn a person. People originate from gametes, so are gametes people? Should masturbation and sex be illegal because they cause sperm to die? No.

You don't get living things from dead things. Sperm is alive, so is the unborn child.

No more than sperm itself.

But, sperm is alive. The difference between the zygote and sperm is that the zygote will grow and develop, while sperm will not.

Because I once thought as you did. I was horrified when I realised that people were being arrested for opposing abortion. It made me think that I was on the wrong side of the line. If my beliefs were true, why were we arresting people to enforce them?

I believe that the bubble zone law explicitly contradicts the Charter which defends freedom of expression. Such protections do not extend to murder. If the Charter is truly the higher law, why is the bubble zone legal?
