This is written by the same guy who wrote "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them." (Colossians 3:18-19, NIV)
And the Bible has plenty of other patriarchal crap. If you're just going to reinterpret it into whatever you want why even bother being a Christian?
One must interpret the Bible in terms of the context of the times it was written. While the Bible is inspired by God, it was written by flawed men. It is no surprise that Paul was patriarchial considering he lived in that era.
Biblical interpretation is not a cut and dried thing. Fundies are only a subset of Christianity and definitely not a majority view (for one, Catholics are not fundamentalists). That is also why each believer is called to read the Bible themselves, so that the Holy Spirit can work through them and instruct them on how to interpret the text.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
I, too, like Game because it gives you a certain framework with which you can understand how social life works. Even though the stuff has a misanthropic vibe, after reading some of it I've actually been able to enjoy social situations and be more outgoing! Also, Roissy for example is such a good writer that you should read his stuff just for the literary experience. Personally I don't buy into all of his stuff but he is still a good read. May I also recommend Michel Houellebecq's books, I think he definitely has got it.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "
This whole game **** is bull****. Somebody who has to do this **** so much that he's got systems and devices to do it means he's not successful at relationships. Do not listen to them.
It's simple: be yourself, hold a good conversation.

"Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi
As I said before...you're just not my type. Sorry man.

"Game" is for those who don't find that simple, or who want a deeper insight into the "theory" of it.
I know that social skills, once learned, seem so easy that the idea of needing to learn them explicitly appears preposterous in hindsight. But think of it as training wheels. Some need them.
Fall down seven times, get up eight. (Technically, that shouldn't be necessary; if you fall down seven times, you should get up seven times, too. But whatever.)
Value ???? I think I have found your problem right there...
I'm talking about value on the sexual marketplace.
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila
