    I never said that a legal hispanic driving 2 miles over was a criminal, and they will not be affected by this law at all (assuming they have proper ID, just like I must).


    The only people that will ever be affected by this law are those who don't have papers.

      Yes legals will be affected by this law if they get a ticket. Which has been my point all along.

                Yes there are a few sites that will demonstrate that there is no proof but a majority of the sites have merit. Granted with all the lawsuits many states have instituted processes that have reduced the impact.

                  I'm talking marginal traffic stops, not violent crimes or property crimes.
                  All you've got is a anecdote. I don't see anything that indicates that white people are treated any differently.

                    I also consider violating immigration laws to be criminal.
                    Then how should they enforce the law? I don't see anything that would exempt me if I were a snowback in AZ from being profiled.

                    From what I can see it's pretty simple. Obey the laws. Keep your car in good working conditions (especially lights), etc.

                    I used to get pulled over all the time when I had my '88 Mustang. I've been pulled over once in the Civic.
