Well, there are a number of brits here, and I think that they would disagreeWith or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Yes, I worry about this one based on what I've seen around here in the vanilla villages surrounding Chicago. In our suburb, over half the people I see pulled over by the cops are Black, yet Blacks make up less than 1% of the population. Hmmm, it seems DWB is reason alone to be pulled over. DWH is another popular offense. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

This law is not going to make additional crooked cops; the crooked ones will go about business as usual. This law doesn't make things any easier for them (the crux being inventing a reason to detain someone in the first place). What's the problem?

Example. Speed limit 40 mph. Two vehicles go by travelling 42 mph. One driver is white so cop ignores. The other driver is darker skinned. He get's pulled over. The cop didn't have to make up a reason, he just had to enforce a a tiny deviation to a rule that he normally would ignore. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. I would consider the above to be "inventing" a reason (as would any traffic judge).
This law does not make doing that any easier.

Same thing on a busted tail light. When our specific vanilla village was accused of profiling due to it's higher percentage of blacks being pulled over, the cops claimed that it was because poor people have older cars that were more likely to have failed equipment. Totally hilarious but it stood up to the legal challenge. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

None of that is relevant to this law. This law changes nothing regarding the rules of detaining someone. Your argument is "cops pull people over for BS reasons". Yes, true. So what? This law doesn't change that. If you want a law to prevent that, go make one or something but I don't understand why you criticize this law for not doing that.
What is the law supposed to be? "No asking someone any questions unless the shoot you." That's it? That's what you want?
If you have a problem with enforcing the existing immigration laws, then amend them. Don't give me this "don't ask don't tell" policy on immigration - it's ridiculous.

My point be that the law may give them more incentive to push the limits. But yes, cops do it already. But now there might be a bigger payoff to racists cops. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

If a minority kills a few people and a racist cop catches them, their punishment is his "payoff"?
Just admit it. You want to put DADT on the Statue of Liberty. I smell Clinton in our immigation policy.

Not that extreme. Racist cop that pulls over Hispanics for 2 miles over the speed limit just to harass them can now get an additional payoff if he's illegal. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
