Opposing goalie was actually reasonably good for a while before the plethora of multi-shot chances wore him down and he then let in a couple of weaker goals. Luongo was meh

Halak was very good and let in no bad goals. Luongo let in one fairly awful goal and then a rebound goal that wasn't really his fault. Overall halak was better. Generally I am a believer in sv% but as a stat but over longer periods. In a single game the better goalie on the night can have the lesser % if he faces more difficult chances.

I don't agree with Asher that Luongo was outgoaltended that often. What I maintain is that he hes not been particularly good yet-- My adjectives would be adequate, fair maybe good sometimes.

Luongo has played in 3 games that were blowouts where he had 7 or 8 goals of support. In the only close game he gave up a terrible goal that rejuvenated the opposition. I wanted him to shut them down but he didn't.
