    Nice and trotally irrelevant.

I'm well aware of issues surrounding conservation, but it's more hyperbole than anything else. Look at the difference just in the last 50 years wrt emissions quality etc. I would hazard to say that the modern city is far, far more cleaner than the London of say 250 years ago.
Pure BS. 250 years ago industry didn't exist. No electricity etc, and the population was waaay lower than now.

What I see as the greatest danger to conservation efforts is not that there will be too many people, but rather too few.
Ben you are an idiot ! Unless you are immensly dense, you know that the western world are using way more than their part of resources and - not if, but when - the rest of the world reaches this, we have a problem. Thouigh, still you want to add more grasshoppers ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

        Irrelevant to the discussion.
        Actions > Words.

This is not only about conservation. We have an obligation to honour God's creation, He said that it was good, and we're responsible for letting it remain so, as gardeners so to speak.
Fair enough. He also says, "Fill the Earth and subdue it."

            Hmm?

There were large-scale outbreaks of cholera in London proper well into the nineteenth century.

I'm saying that people are not just consumers but producers. I'm also saying look at Germany, where rural areas are becoming depopulated and infrastructure, (sewers, etc), have already started to crumble.

Joining your fantasy world for a moment - did she also say "multiply beyond reason, use up all resources and thereby kill yourself" ?

Hey, if they are going to toss out ad-hominems, I'm quite happy to spar on that level.

Edit wrt to end of days, yeah it will suck, but I have to agree that I look forward to it.

What are you trying to say - that DDR was hopelessly bacwards and are catching up ? Depopulating of rural areas is an old story. Sewers not working it's europe, not ****ing US, so of course it will be fixed.

We're already way beyond a reasonable number on current levels of consumption.

Your utter ignorance on this subject is, unfortunately, utterly predictable.

Now a bit unfair to ask you the same question, (a bit like kindergarten), though, I consider it fair to ask how many people you (as a christian) think the world can give a lifestyle at least as it is in the current western world ? The goal is of course that all people reaches this.

Not true - if we just reserve resources for christians, I think we can handle it
