It indicates that his engaging in combat with uniformed military personnel on a military post was motivated by a religious loyalty rather than a national loyalty. What does that have to do with being a terrorist?

Suppose he'd gone to Iraq, joined the insurgency, and blown up a stryker with an IED. Would he be a terrorist merely because he wanted to "defend" fellow Muslims from what he perceived to be a war against "Islam," meaning he could only escape the terrorist label if he were an Iraqi fighting for Iraqi national sovereignty?

Well, you can be a nutcase without being religious, though, not the other way around
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Reason you don't see more Christian fundies in America doing these kind of things is because their fingers are too fat to pull a trigger and they don't have the stamina for a spree shooting.

Shooting rampages usually happen at places where the gunman spends a large portion of their time. You know, work or school.
True. How's everything going for you folks? This isn't very far from you at all.

                  Oh, come on, Ben.

Seriously, what a dumb question. There was a shooting in a military base somewhere and you ask civilians who live hours away with how things are going regarding it?

QFT, why the perpetual hard-on for this thing? Even though he'd lived in Texas, it shouldn't hit home so much when personnel on the base were predominantly non-Texan to boot.

Wow, you levelled up in class.

You should write the update for "how to win friends and influence people."

                      Edit, same goes for Darius.

Why do people hate America so much. I just don't get it.

When they had the London bombing, everyone here was sympathetic. Why is that so hard to extend compassion and kindness here?

I love how everyone who thinks you are a colossal ****ing idiot hates America.

Get over it, Ben. You're not American. Darius is, and I technically am as well.

People are sympathetic here -- no one likes to see people shot to death by crazy people. There's a difference in being sympathetic and being retarded.

My grandmother died today, so I do expect you to ask Wezil (who lived within 1 hour of her) to ask how he's doing with it as well. Failure to do so makes you unpatriotic and unsympathetic.

Ben should start a memorial thread for your grandmother.

                          And my condolences.

                                I didn't do it.

                                Sorry to hear Asher.
