It was a station for processing personnel in and out.

Well rumors aren't always to be believed. Thanks for clarifying.

Oh please tell me you're joking... This has to be the dumbest thing to ever come out of your mouth on Poly, and that's saying a lot.

        Well duh.

Shooting rampages and 'gun-free' zones go hand in hand.

Are you trying to tell me the murderer was unaware of the policy at the base?
Policy schmolicy; what's ridiculous is ever having the gall to use "[the largest Army] base [on the face of the planet]" and "defenseless" in the same sentence. Have you ever heard what the Army is in the business of doing? The fact that he'd target an Army base as opposed to, say, an office building or shopping mall shows that he was remarkably brave, not a coward. Christ, I bet you're dumb enough to think this guy's a "terrorist" too...
        Unbelievable!

          I wouldn't call him a coward. But I would say that he's a piece of ****.

            I don't think anyone's disputing that.

Well he was being tracked by the FBI and had apparently made remarks in support of Iraqi insurgents and suicide bombers.

Which I don't understand how they couldn't definitively identify him as the poster. A public access computer that wouldn't necessarily tie him to the IP?

I'd be more interested in why the man was promoted to Major after coming to the attention of Federal authorities for his internet postings.

                      And poor performance evaluations.

Shooting rampages usually happen at places where the gunman spends a large portion of their time. You know, work or school.

Then one of those factors would still not make him a terrorist and the other (depending on which type of suicide bombings he had in mind) make him a terrorist sympathizer at worst, not a terrorist.

What does repeatedly shouting allah akbar during the attack make him?

I think the facts allow you to take this bold assertion a bit further, dann.
