      They are all boring.

      • Umm... no... Even the Serbian and the Egyptian song both sound very similar in instrumentation. And West African (like Cameroon) influences on the music of Brazil and Trinidad are obvious and well-documented. They have obvious commonalities, but I meant something greater like a general lack of distortion and harsh dissonance.

Look at that thing I posted from Bugs... Whitehouse. Compare.

They may have obvious commonalities, unfortunately that commonality is dullness. Those songs simply are not interesting. They are boring.

              • Since I mentioned Bobby Womack and haven't posted any of his songs in a while...

And I don't think I've posted any Al Green:

weak, albert, weak. you picked 5 songs at random which have bugger all in common and this is a poor attempt to cover up the fact that you don't know what you are talking about.

right, finally we're getting somewhere. so what you're really saying here is that none of those songs sound like industrial or punk rock. well, no [kidding] sherlock! so to cut through the bull**** and get to the point, you are saying that you don't like those two genres and don't understand how others can. you've said it before. that's all, don't try to dress it up because you're just making yourself look silly. your problems with appriciating that others have different tastes (whether it be music or women or whatever) are well documented here.

Careful, if you go around posting stuff like that he's liable to accuse you of being a decadent cracker.
