I know that you are norwegian, but I don't know how much your family are into fishing - Laproaigh is a "I HATE IT" or "WOW, MORE" - if you aren't confident, then start with Caol Ila.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
