    Nokias are never used in the field here as they don't usually have push-to-talk functionality (like walkie-talkies) that are essential for such jobs.

    There are phones far more rugged than your typical plastic Nokia trash that include such functionality also, eg:

      Is it that hard to understand? Nokia conquered that market a long time ago with their cheap phones like the one kitman posted earlier. If people are happy with the product, there's no real reason why they should change, especially if they don't care about mobile phones and thus don't want to spend too much time on it.

        Don't bother, Asher will never get it.

        By the way, I have dropped my iPhone many times, sometimes on hard rough concrete. Not a scratch or malfunction.

            Their sales are tanking. If they made compelling products, people would buy them. They don't. They make ugly assed phones with pisspoor features, then wonder why their marketshare is sliding.

                          I've had mine 2 years and haven't dropped it. I don't know what that means, but there you have it, for what it's worth.
