That's a good question. No, I don't believe it's government endorsement to issue a permit for a parade, or a KKK rally. I see it as freedom of speech. I think gay people should be allowed to hold their pride parades even if I disagree with their message.

Ben's a black hole of ignorance. Those that get sucked into debate with him never seem to be getting anywhere from our frame of reference, but in theirs' they are rapidly approaching the event horizon. And no one knows whats going to happen when it's reached.

Indeed. It is the ultimate exercise in futility. The joke is basically on the posters replying to Ben IMO.

I don't even believe this is his real stance. He is either someone practicing their debating skills from an extreme bigot's POV, or a Troll Extraordinaire.

The perfect solution is to ignore him as his arguments are so outlandishly wrong that they automatically condemn themselves in the eyes of the sane reader.

Once starved of his oxygen, hopefully he would move elsewhere and bother another forum, hopefully Pandas 'R' Us - though the fear there is that they would actually agree with him...
