    • See here's the trick. You get two people together and if you're real lucky you get a happy couple.

That's it for now, I'll get some more later of the magic string, holes for posts and Rigo working very hard on a stump.

      • The holes for the road side posts are started. Uncle Iking laid out square for the house.

Wood has been set to hold the magic string. Its coming to the time where the string is everywhere within the bounds of the house and to the wood. All the darker wood is from my place.

        • Elmer starting a new post hole.

The rings for the double wrap are preparing. There's a large post cage being built behind and a stack of forms from my place on the right.

              • A new delivery of fine beach sand which is better than crushed rock sand.

                • A considerable stack of wood from my place in addition to what's already been used. Still, not nearly enough. Sho had delivered a stack of new coco lumber also.

                  That's it!

                  Zkrib, where are you pal?

                  • I got exiled to a different office yesterday, so I couldn't sneak away to the Internet.

I have today off. I'm going to see my chiro, and then go through my financial papers. Later, hopefully I'll get over to see the folks that handle retirement to see what my situation is.

Edit: Hey look. I just got some papers from my retirement system. This looks like it has a lot of useful info. I gotta go read this.

Oh and BTW: Yesterday, I had lunch with a co-worker of mine who used to work for Social Security. She told me that the earliest a person can collect retirement monies from Social Security is at age 62. I thought a person could do it earlier. Are you aware of this??

                    • Yes, I'm aware of that. Though, I will never see a dime of it.

ARe you worried that the ocean levels are suppose to rise more than expected over the next 10000000000000000000000years?

I want all you folks out there to start walking to work and stop farting methane.

I think 62 is the earliest you can take it without having significant penalties, IIRC.

She said 62 is the earliest you can take it period. If there's a disablity, then you can of course, collect that. But for retirement, 62 minimum.

                            • Hmm, you're right. 62 is the penalized age, 65-67 (depending on DOB) is the full age. Had my numbers confused

                              • Yeah, 62, I knew that, Dolores says she knows that. Taking at 62 is less than at 65 and that's less than 70. I've heard that if you take it at 62 and live an average lifespan you make more money than taking it later. I've also heard that the buggers have it stretched to the end of each year, ie almost 63.

Hope that doesn't mess with your plans too much.

Didn't you get your annual social security statement?

Regarding sea level rise, you should be aware that the century doesn't end until 2100.
