  • I received the plans from Aeson. My cheesy home computer won't open them. But I'm planning in stopping by the office tomorrow (Saturday). I'll open them there.

    • I'm at work. I can open the doc, but I can't print it out.

I see that Tito has made NONE of the changes I wanted. He did take out the wall between my office and master bedroom, which is a change I do NOT want. So, do NOT do anything according to his plan until I get that and can fix things. Even the foundation is messed up.

One interesting thing he did do: He put the septic tank on the ocean-side of the seawall. Will this even work? Can this be done now that the seawall is already built? I'm not sure how we'd get the plumbing to it.

I suggest laying down some geotextile and then covering it with a foot or two of top soil. The geotextile will prevent the soil from getting down in the drainage rock but will still let water through.

        • Thanks, Oerdin. I don't know if geotextile is available in the Philippines, but we can see.

          • Changes we can make as we go, np.

Right now we're only going to do the stuff that hopefully can't get screwed up. Basicly all the stuff that I listed in my earlier post. I told Sho about it twice yesterday. Pour posts, pour the ground level and maybe first floor tie beams, get in limestone for under the house and hopefully dirt in the yard and then build the circumference wall and you'll likely get here during that. The pipe under the house and the septic can go in anytime after the limestone is in.

Don't know about the septic but we can run pipes anywhere except through the wall. I did have Sho put a pipe for grey water, shower, sinks, etc which goes out to the ocean.

The septic is a little more involved than I would have done. The gravel is capable of taking water away in vast amounts, more than you'll ever need imo.
