(because others do it) Pretty lame if you ask me.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

      Never said that.

I've actually said no politicians are ever to be trusted, all of them are morons, and I hate them all.

On the other hand, you are ignoring McCain's blatant lies about currently relevant situations to focus on Biden being a bit of a moron with events that occurred before his birth.

      • Biden systematically explained how McSame's saberrattling is counterproductive and is making Iran stronger. How McSame has been wrong on Pakistan & Afgahistan, on Iraq, etc.. How McSame's refusal to meet with our NATO ally Spain, whose troops are fighting beside us in Afghanistan, shows more erroneous judgment.
Except he is right on Iraq, and is right on Afghanistan and Pakistan. And there is nothing wrong with squabbling with an ally, and Iran's position isn't stronger based on saber rattling (which our sacred allies are in lock step with us on).

Biden is supposed to boon Obama's foreign policy credentials?

Has anyone asked Biden or the Magical Negro about whether McCain has been right on the surge lately? And what about the Magical Negro's comments on bombing Pakistan even without their consent in light of Pakistani troops firing at US troops who try to come in without permission?

          • Can I just say how much I hate nicknames like McSame? Jesus Christ it pisses me off.

Magical Negro -- that's a new low though. Impressive coming from a Populist Pakistani.

Big friggin' deal. He said "television" when he meant "radio." We all remember newsreel shots of FDR's famous "all we have to fear is fear itself" speech.

If you listen to the reporters and politicians telling of the panicked calls from everyday Americans, the concerns become obvious: What happened? What will happen? Are my savings safe? How much is this going to cost me?

Biden's just pointing out that no one from the administration has explained frankly to the American people, what happened. Instead, boogie men like "greed" and "corruption" are trotted out.

They'd rather we not ask questions about why this happened, or discuss it at all. It is imperative that we focus on the TV/radio mistake, as it is going to decide our election.

Hmm, check out the thread title. I was just trying to post on topic. As you are well aware there are many other threads that discuss the other topics. I don't think I've ignored McCain's statements. I just didn't mention them here since it not what this thread is about.

My main point being, everyone knew Biden's weakness is that he usually keeps talking until he says something stupid. So I think picking him shows poor judgment. Not quite as bad as choosing someone not completely vetted but not that far off. McCain's gut choice was based on not knowing something and being surprised. Obama's was done knowing but ignoring or betting the risk was low. Either shows poor judgment in my book.

Which in the grand scheme of things is really trivial but since everyone is poking fun at McCain for his poor judgment, I think it's only fun to use the same spear.

What an clown. This kind of thing is not a surprise. How could a reasonable smart person select this moron to be his running mate. Poor Judgment all the way.
                    You mean McCain?

                    Oh, you were being ironic.

They both made political choices. No big surprise - they're politicians.

I wouldn't know. when I started a thread about McCain's lies, you promptly locked it.

                      • Just more proof that most Obama backers are like him, too serious and lack any sense of humor. I posted it in a humorous fashion, even using a ' ' after my judgment comment and instead of seeing the humor in it all "THE ONE" fanboys come out and throw back other dirt and refuse to see the humor in it. Come on, didn't you actually chuckle a bit when you read it? Admit it.

Yeah, i did lock that one. There were half a dozen other ones on the front page. I didn't delete it, i just referenced people to go to one of the other ones.
I'd like to think that when it comes closing threads that my personal opinion doesn't come into play. I really do try my best.

                          • I just find it interesting we have a thread about Biden's lies, but one about McCain's lies is not permitted. Unless you wish to concede that the other "4 or 5" threads are all about McCain's lies. There were a lot.

That was the point. To indicate how silly the nicknames are. Zkrib knows, we've had this discussion before.

No. The point was that FDR wasn't President when the stock market crash hit. Though the television thing makes it even more hilarious!
