Foreign policy alone, that ranks him behind only Wilson and FDR. Eisenhower had a stalemate in Korea, and Nixon had defeat in Vietnam. Wilson's defeat of the Kaiserreich and establishing the League of Nations was huge.
Eisenhower got us out of Korea (as he promised us he'd do). He also prevented any attempts to "hotten" the situation and presided over an era of relative peace. He was basically the grown up of the Cold War.
As for Nixon, he inherited Vietnam, and in a masterstroke, he acknowledged the PRC, which caused a lot of fun fighting between the USSR and PRC against each other. It also allowed the US to stop the moronic idea to not recognize one of the largest countries on Earth.
