I'd keep this thread open and topped. When it hits 500 cut it loose and let it drop. If someone has a gripe then they open a gripe thread which then gets topped. It should have a poll opened in it after a week to determine the validity of the gripe. The poll could be renewed if the debate continues or changes.

Give me the ability to go into a thread and top it, and renew or change a poll and I'll do this for Poly and the community and I won't abuse it.

Well, it is nice that Rah has started this thread so that fellow Apolytoners can get certain "issues" off of their chests (very therapeutic).

I, for one, don't have any issues with this site or our hosts. I am proud to be an Apolytoner and the rules, I feel, are fair and well balanced.

...of course, I have never been banned before either - so I might just be living in my own little crystal palace...

I like this site and I appreciate the work that goes into maintaining it. Do the mods occasionally act like power hungry dems running for prez? Of course they do! Its part of the charm.

Asher got banned and it may have been a hasty judgement. Hmmm, I believe I've seen this show before. The next act is various "Asher-like" DL's appearing and comments made on other sites about never returning. Its also part of the charm.

Remember, no real reason has to be explained

If anyone is deemed out of line, they get banned.

By that i mean if your disrespectful to a Mod or owner, you get banned, not saying they get banned for being disrespectful, because of course they wouldnt, its their site.

I share this because from what i am hearing over and over through the years is blah blah blah, I get insulted threatened and stalked///

What i am also hearing is the same mods saying people are cowards hiding behind the computer threatening...

Thats not necessarily a good thing to mock or tease, it only encourages such responses.

A member or invited guest of this living room gets heated, they get banned, however, its ok for the Mod to get heated, they wont.


Ibeen in lots of fights in my life, won a few lost a lot more...just sharing, calling someone a coward or antagonizing a person may one day get a person an opportunity to meet face to face and never see it coming.


I have chosen to ignore to the best of my abilities the governing authority here on a few issues, i tried nut failed to meet half way so decided to not let it bother me, afterall, I am just a passer by who enjoys many things in Apolyton.

It has been told, explained and demanded I and all others behave or else, get banned.

Do I think things are fair, heck no, if I wanted fair I sure wouldnt be here.

I do come for the fellowship of many but also because I think the site is a nice overall place to be.

I cant help laugh at some conversations I have been privy to and no wont repeat them but silly people thinking because they have a shingle hung over their door saying because they own or run this site makes them experts on dealing with people, why thats just hiliarious.

But I do understand also being burned out and responding harshly.

A shame some sort of toning down cant be instilled in some of the moderating but alsas, I dont have to be here.....but I do enjoy some of the fellowship.

I certainly dont hate anyone one of the owners or administrators, i just dont agree with them but then i dont have to either
