yea, as fun as stalking is, you should definitely keep it yourself. oh and on here.

      • The situation is a little different when you live in the same complex, I had this exact situation last summer. Is it stalking if I notice her car is or isn't there when I drive home? What if I notice if her light is on when I walking to my apartment. It led to this ridiculous tendancy of mine to enter the complex from a different and inconvienient enterance and then forcing myself to not look left when walking home to avoid any sense of stalking. But then again isn't that just as obsessive?

I worked at the same place as well, but not with her. It led to this strange sense that I had been caught stalking just because I would see her in a hallway I wouldn't expect to have seen her. I would avoid her area of the building entirely so that the mear idea that I had gone over there just to stalk her would not come up.

        Thank god she transfered.

Exactly. I'm sure in her mind its all "stalking", but I mean isn't it like a train wreck? It's hard NOT to look over when it is right there in front (her building is basically at a diagonal to mine). Forcing yourself not to look becomes a wierd game.

How do you avoid it? Of course she's going to assume the worst.

            That's no fun.

Try and get some hidden cameras in her home and a tracking device on her car. That way every time she does some guy you can revel in the misery and post the pics on Poly.

Hmm, on second thought maybe b etor is right.

I can't help but think there might be a sitcom here, 'Lawyers in Love' or something.

Don't feel bad Imran, I've been through stuff like this that just seems so wrong. Several times in fact. Can't remember all their names anymore.

Well, actually confronting her about your "stalking" doesn't help in your denial

                • I does suck, and honselty there is no way to keep her from assuming you are stalking because

1.) it lets her believe you are crazy and thus she is in the right for the breakup

2.) it lets her assume she is just unforgetable and thus makes her feel good about herself

3.) it lets her paint you as a phsyco and thus win joint friends onto her side (assuming you guys have any).

Thats why I took great pains to just avoid her outright, so nobody could claim I was stalking, and thus I kept all the friens (which was not only good for me but devestating for her, double score!).

Now that doesn't mean I didn't notice things, and I saw plenty of dudes pick her up or drop her off or saw the same car stay overnight. Some things you can't help, but I never gave her the satisfaction of knowing I noticed, not to mention cared.

                  • All this jogging/stalking will get him in shape and he'll end up in a brand new 'Lawyers in Love' episode with a new sexy actress because he's so fit. (physicly)

                      • Anyways, lots of red flags here Imran.

                        1. You deserve someone who wants to be in a relationship with you, who will tell the other folks who would rather it was in the open rather then someone stringing you along here.

You should have stood up for yourself back then and said, I want to be in a real relationship.

                        2. She and T have been in some sense 'together' for years now. It's a good scam having him when she wants and you when she wants, and not having to commit or make a decision about either one of them. When you left, T won, and that was the end of that.

It goes back to the question, as to why didn't she want people to know she was with you.

Anyways, move on, find someone who really loves you and is willing to be a real girlfriend for you. Sorry it took 6! years to find this out, but best to just get started now.

Honestly, if you can, you should move. It would be healthier for you.

Plus, it will give you a pleasant event in your future to focus on.
