I think it's the Old Guy effect... McCain is old so young voters won't vote for him

Maybe... But Huckabee became a star on youtube, with his SNL and Colbert Report appearance.

Sure, I'd vote for the Huckster over McCain.

        The SNL skit didn't hurt.

Nah, I don't buy that really. Perhaps he overcame some of the anti-psycho-religious-right bias, but I think it's mostly anti-old-guy than any sort of stardom.

I think you touch the point; the fact that he overcame the anti-psycho-reiligous-right bias and the effect of stardom(I also forgot the ad with with Chuck Norris)

Wow, Hillary trounced Obama in Ohio.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Ya she'll win but the margin will tighten up a bit as returns from some of the cities come in, I expect Obama to get up to 45% in Ohio.

                            From R. Reagan:
We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.
                            From B. Obama:
“we are the last best hope of man on Earth”.
I also notice, in some other speech, Obama took other excerpt from Reagan speech!
