Hillary projected to 'win' Texas, but based on how close this is, it looks like Obama will probably end up with more delegates (plus the caucuses which he pretty much always wins). We'll see how much more 'life' this gives her...

Wow, this is too close.
Obama is down, but leading in most of the biggest counties.
The only thing that will keep Hillary up is Webb and all the voters down there.
I'm going to predict Hillary holds on.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

CNN would agree with you, as they've called it based on the exits.
Obama will win more delegates, I suspect, because of how Texas allocates delegates - based on how many voted Dem in any given district in the last Pres/Gov elections. In Obama areas, there were apparently more Dem voters during these elections, so more delegates come from those areas.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

I got a little happy when I heard the Hillary guy in OH mention FL and Michigan in his speech to fire up the crowd.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

So it looks like Hillary "wins" Texas but Obama gets more delegates out of Texas? Strange stuff these primaries.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

The delegate count is still not clear (as usual the news media is ignoring delegates), but I saw a pretty interesting piece on the Bush effect (perhaps on this site, I forget where) leading Obama to have an advantage in TX delegates regardless of popular vote.
The real question is, does Hillary actually benefit from this performance? Obama was trailing both TX and OH significantly not that long ago, and did better in both states than he was expected to do. Can he turn that into momentum, or does Hillary get all the momentum tonight?
We'll know when KY and PA vote, more than likely... those two states are looking more and more important now.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

I think it'll end somewhere around 51-48... Hillary has a huge advantage in El Paso and surrounding areas (the Mountain time zone areas). Those are also the Bush voting areas, though, so she won't get that many delegates from it.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

We say we are for the Union. The world will not forget that we say this. We know how to save the Union. The world knows we do know how to save it. We -- even we here -- hold the power, and bear the responsibility. In giving freedom to the slave, we assure freedom to the free -- honorable alike in what we give, and what we preserve. We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth. Other means may succeed; this could not fail. The way is plain, peaceful, generous, just -- a way which, if followed, the world will forever applaud, and God must forever bless.
