I am in good health.
I have virtually no human interaction.
The song birds outside my window sound nice, the plane passing by overhead does not.

Plenty of money.
Decent, not great health.
Happy marriage.
Good friends.
I generally like my family.
I like where I live.
Job is ok.
Generally, I feel content/happy.
Add that up and I figure I'm rich.

I was suprised to find that I am.
Apparently, I'm in the top 10% of U.S. wage earners. It certainly doesn't feel like I'm rich. I can't even afford to buy a home here in Los Angeles.
Maybe it's because I've only been getting anywhere this much since we organized our local back in 2000. Since then, our salaries have doubled.Comment

I have little money, but I'm a student and not working full time.
I have a close family, so I consider myself rich in that way.
I have many good friends and some really great ones, so I'm good that way as well.
Except for the common cold I'm fighting, I'm in great health.
