That 75% share is of US search advertising (and I was the one who posted that percentage, Ming posted the dollar figure). Overseas, especially in Europe, their share is higher, believe it or not.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

So let's stop this discussion and get back on topic.
And again... discuss the topic and not the posters
But yeah, often times, you kinda try to reach management who have the rights to buy **** in great bulk/really expensive services from other companies.B♭3

The difference partially can be explained in that we were talking 2007 while Johnson was talking 2008.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. I've seen some pretty extreme numbers in Europe that make up for CJK.
Like Google has 90%+ of the search market in the UK (and presumably that percentage or higher of the search ad market).I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. Well, I only say "makes up" for it when evaluating how reasonable is a 84% share calculation of the internet ads business.Last edited by DanS; February 1, 2008, 13:35.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. In any event, this adds uncertainty to both Yahoo and Microsoft for the next couple of years. In the meantime, Google is pressing its advantage.
It's an unsolicited bid, which means that it could become a hostile bid. Google might have a competing bid, as just one example of potential Google ratfvcking. Even if the deal is done, it has to get through the regulators (it took Google a year on Doubleclick, an order-of-magnitude smaller deal). Then it has to get through the courts regarding anti-trust. Then you have to integrate the two companies.
This just strikes me as a huge distraction.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter.
