I was speaking in general terms, you as an ad man.
What kind of B2B advertising is there?
If you only knew...
You squandered a huge opportunity here.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

While it is kind of you to think I'm capable of being a porn star, I must say it is all a lie.
I'm just trying to get a grasp on what B2B ad men do, other than slap the wrists of porn stars posting on forums.

We help businesses market to other businesses. Could be as simple as selling heavy earth moving equipment to construction companies, or selling computers to businesses... Companies selling to companies.
So let's stop this discussion and get back on topic.
And again... discuss the topic and not the posters
Are you guys responsible for the women at CES from IBM with LCDs across their breasts? Brilliant, if so!

The sideshow had such promise... Asher had a killer move available, but didn't know it and started thinking about raping little boys instead.
Anyway, so the internet ad business is $10 billion. Isn't like 2/3rd of it search ads?

Do we have a rough number for total internet advertising? I must say that it's growing so quickly, I have a hard time keeping up with the figures.

I've seen many different numbers, and how you define internet advertising varies. But one reasonable number was 19.7 billion in 2007
And since Google took in $16.6 billion last year, almost all of which is internet ads, that would put Google's share at 84%.
